THE ANSWER
The only thing we know for sure is that one message is true and two are false. By testing out each scenario – cash in bag 1, or cash in bag 2, or cash in bag 3 – you will discover that there is only one scenario when this is the case, it’s when message 2 is true! So:
Bag 2 message: true
Bag 3 message: false
Bag 1 message: false
(In the other two possible scenarios you get two true and one false answer. It helps if you work it out on a piece of paper! 🧐)
So if bag 1 message IS false then the cash is in bag!
