Hi LOVELIES, It’s Sophia here!

This message is the VERY FIRST of a new series of personal updates from me, myself and I. You’ve been an incredible audience over the last decade. Wait, what?!! Yes, that’s right! This year I’m celebrating my brand’s 10 year anniversary! And I couldn’t have got here without YOU. Writing has become a new passion of mine. If you haven’t heard, I’ve written my first book! I can’t quite believe I have finished it but here we are, over 50,000 words later and my coffee-table book/memoir, Oh My Gosh, I Love Your Shoes! is finally at the printers and the very first copy is being delivered to me this week- eeek!

But until you can get your hands on my book, I thought I would start journaling about what’s going on behind the scenes at SWHQ and share some cute little snippets from home.

So… July has been full of joy starting with my baby boy Nate turning one and his banana-themed birthday party. The theme, chosen by his big sisters, was inspired by his love of Banana-eating, squishing and smearing as it makes him very happy! His amazing banana cake was made by @DawnsDreamCakes who is my go-to for birthday bakes, if you are based in East London/Essex, Dawn is the Queen of Showstopper Cakes that taste as incredible as they look!

The party reminded me of my 2015 banana shoes covered in my banana sketches- they were so cute!

My favourite outfit this week was an Olivia Rubin dress with my upcycled Rosalinds which I wore to my friend’s 40th – how cute is the big pink bow on the back though? Excuse the dodgy photo but it’s the only one I have as I was too busy throwing shapes on the dance floor! I love the Margaux bag shape – you can fit all the essentials for a night out, phone, keys lipgloss and bronzer!

Bobby and I also went to a British Fashion council Summer party at the Serpentine. I wore a Stella jean co-ord with my absolute favourite shoes of the summer- Amora Peaches. 

Lastly, my shoe of the week has to be my Venus flatforms! So many of Team SW have a pair and admittedly we do sound like a herd of elephants stomping around in them but who cares when the comfort/cuteness ratio is just perfection!
